So we’re gonna try something new this week. I wrote down what happened these last few days and I scanned everything and I’m going to send it this way… So we’ll see how this goes*.
This week has been pretty tough but super rewarding as well. My companion and I have been working super well together, and we’re learning a ton. Our branch here in Posse is super small but we have the means here among the missionaries and the leadership and even some of the less actives to turn it into a very strong ward. Our theme has been Moroni 9:6 for the last couple of weeks:
“And now, my beloved son, notwithstanding their hardness, let us labor diligently; for if we should cease to labor, we should be brought under condemnation; for we have a labor to perform whilst in this tabernacle of clay, that we may conquer the enemy of all righteousness, and rest our souls in the kingdom of God.”
Our challenge for my missionary friends this week is to do an Empty-handed Monday! Go out after pday with nothing but a Book of Mormon and a pamphlet from every lesson (one of each for you and your companion) and you both have to return home with nothing in your hands! We’ve started that tradition here and it’s been going good!
I love you all!
peace be the journey
